This center contains the following:
*cover
*directions for 2 different ways to play this game (sorting center and card flip game)
*2 sorting mats
*18 –ou /ou/ cards
*18 –ow /ou/ cards
*2 –ou /ou/ words recording sheets (1 for recording the words, 1 for writing 6 sentences)
*2 –ow /ou/ words recording sheets (1 for recording the words, 1 for writing 6 sentences)

Even though this center was made to go along with the reading street series it would still be a great center to learn or review –ou /ou/ and –ow /ou/ words.

Vocabulary Booklets for Math and Science

Today over at Bookish Ways in Math and Science you'll find vocabulary booklets for students to use in math or science, either over the course of the year or for each major unit of instruction. Each booklet includes pages identified by letter of the alphabet. Most letters are given a single page, but the pages for Q/R, U/V, W/X, and Y/Z are shared. On each page there is a space for the word, a picture, and definition.
Here's what they look like.
I hope you find these useful for your journal or writing centers.
