Free Fraction Strips... Just cut them apart!

Are you ready to teach about unit fractions? This is a great way to start. They're called fraction strips, fraction tiles or fraction towers. I use them to show fractions in relation to the whole. This set has the whole, halves, thirds, fourths, fifths, sixths, eighths and tenths. You can use a color coding system as shown in the picture above, this helps students to make further connections to decimals or percents with similar color coding. Directions for color coding are here.  Download it for free from my TPT Store!
