Practicing Equivalent Sums

Equivalent Sums can be a tricky Number Sense topic.  Here's an easy center quick setup that can help your students begin to make that connection and gain understanding.

 Give your students dice and this recording sheet.  As they roll the dice have your students write addition sentences, recording them in the box with the sum they make.  As they collect addition sentences in each box, they collect equivalent addition sentences!  This one's free . . . enjoy!
