As much as possible, I aim to integrate instruction. One way to integrate instruction, cover comprehension topics, teach to the highest levels of Bloom's Taxonomy, and make learning hands-on (whew we do a lot as teachers), is through something that I call experience boxes.
Each box covers a different topic and is stocked with task cards and a variety of objects. Students select a task card of their choice and complete an activity. Dawn
