Franken-Sentences

I'm excited about this new center.  It's a great way to get your kids to pay attention to sentence structure and reading for meaning.  The big question students will need to ask themselves here is "Does it make sense?"

If the name of the center doesn't make sense (since we're nowhere near Halloween anymore), maybe this will help clear it up.

Frankenstein:
(verb) : To cobble something together in an inventive manner.

In this center I've included 5 sets of sentences that include punctuation and capitalization on colored word cards that need to be rearranged to create a working sentence.  The capitalization and punctuation can be used as clues to find the 1st and last words in each sentence.  The second sets (5 more sets for a total of 10 sets of sentences) exclude capitalization and punctuation to create a more challenging center.

Hope you and your kiddos enjoy!
