Jenga Variations in a Center

Do you ever use board games in your centers? I love to use games so much that each Friday I write a Board Game Friday blog post on Raki’s Rad Resources with suggestions about how to use a particular game in your classroom. Normally, I use a new game in small group first. Then, once my students are comfortable with the rules of the game, and the various variations, I put it in a center to continue reinforcing the skill while students think they are playing.
Here are two blog posts I recently wrote about how to use Jenga in your classroom. Stop by and check them out to see how to use Jenga to practice place value and to build sentences.
