The middle school dilemma!  If you are like me, you struggle to find middle school resources that teach the theme of a text.  Students not only need exposure to theme, but the text that is used also must address themes that are common to middle school literature to really be on target for Common Core.  This document was developed to address these concerns.  The document includes 20 task cards to review theme.  The first 18 task cards contain short passages and are in both multiple-choice and written response formats.  The last two are open-ended for use with any text. $3.50
