I just posted about how we are exploring Spiders this week in my close-reading intervention block!
Do you teach with themes? I NEVER have before and the general education curriculum my school follows doesn't really lend itself. But this year, I'm working with a special group of first graders who are thriving on connecting their learning to a theme. Here's a few pictures on how we are exploring spiders this week.
