Moving Remainders Division Game
Division is tough to teach, but even after students learn the basic algorithm, they need lots of opportunities to practice. The Moving Remainders Division Game is a perfect center activity for practicing division by single digit divisors. Students roll a die and divide the number on which their marker is located by the number on the die. They move ahead according to the remainder of the division problem. It's a fun game your students will want to play again and again!
