Curious George Computer Center

One of my students’ favorite math centers is the computer center. I only have one computer in my room, so I georgemeasurment2[3]generally just have a fun website that they can work on together, or take turns on. (Only 3 are allowed at this center – to keep the noise to a dim roar!) Right now, we are working on measurement, specifically non-standard units. Now, I’m a big PBS fan, so when I discovered this website where Curious George uses different items to measure how tall things are – coins, donuts, teddy bears – I couldn’t believe how much of a perfect fit it was for my computer center while we are studying non-standard units! Click here to see if it would be a good fit in your computer center.
