Roll-a-Word Activity

You can make this very simple DIY activity for your literacy centers. First, students choose the paper tube with the target word family. Then, they roll the beginning sound to make a new word. You can simply have them read the words for practice or extend the activity. An extension to the activity could be that they write the words on a dry erase board.
