Dry Erase Close Reading Task Cards (Informational Text)

Close reading practice has just become a literacy center activity too!  I was looking for a way to reinforce close reading at center time. That was the inspiration for developing these task cards.  A detailed answer key is also included that shows the details that students should identify in each paragraph. Plus the answer key provides the explanation that students should have written on the blank lines of the task cards too.  To use these task cards:
1.  Students highlight details directly in the passage
2.  Self-check or hand to the teacher
3.  Wipe the task cards
4.  And, put each task card aside for reuse by another student.

The cards are differentiated too!  This makes it so much easier for students that read at different ability levels to review close reading with text that best fits their needs.Click Here To Access Them
